Limited to only 25 units, the D-1 Diver’ Titanium case, bezel and case back are coated with matt black Diamond-Like Carbon (DLC) giving it robustness and lightness while adding scratch resistance. This edition retains the signature one-piece dial, domed glass and Swiss automatic movement of the original D-1. Always striving for improvement, however, we refined the case shape for comfort on the wrist and added 3D Aera logo and hour markers in Swiss Super-LumiNova. Orange accents pop against the dark tonal watch face, and in low-light conditions, the Super-LumiNova® on the markers, numbers and hands glow green for visibility. Legibility, both day and night, are a must for this quintessential tool watch. The versatile D-1 Blackout is more than capable as a tool for deep dives, but it’s just as at home on dry land.

The Aera Todd Snyder D-1 Diver is made in Switzerland and is powered by an Elabore grade Sellita automatic movement, chosen for its performance and reliability in all conditions. Like the original D-1 Diver, launched in 2022, this very special edition features the same one-piece dished dial, which curves up around the edges to meet the seamless curve of our domed sapphire crystal glass and ceramic insert bezel. These striking design features are central to the ethos of Aera, giving the case a satisfyingly curved, pebble-like silhouette. We spent valuable time perfecting the angle of the lugs and the integrated straps too to ensure the D-1 hugs the wrist and offers day-long comfort. The uni-directional bezel, meanwhile, rotates with a pleasing ‘click’. And, if you’re counting, a full rotation takes precisely 120 clicks, one for every half-minute. These, for Aera, are hallmarks that define the 21st century tool watch; they also nod with reverence to the 1950’s and 1960’s, the golden era of dive watches.

All Aera watches come with have a two-year limited warranty from the date of purchase. You can easily extend the warranty for one additional year by visiting the Warranty page and registering your watch. We undertake to repair, free of charge, including shipping, any problem with the functions of the watch that result from defective manufacturing. If there is mechanical failure of the movement within the warranty period, rectification will include reseal and complementary refresh of the case.
