At 44mm, the D-1 Forest retains the proportions and presence associated with classic professional dive watches, balanced by a refined case profile designed for comfort and wearability throughout the day.

Like all D-1 models, the Forest features Aera’s signature one-piece dished dial beneath a domed sapphire crystal, giving the watch its smooth, sculptural profile. The angled lugs and integrated strap system have been carefully refined to help the watch sit naturally on the wrist, creating a secure and balanced fit during everyday wear.

Powering the watch is an upgraded Swiss-made Sellita SW200-1 Elaboré automatic movement with a 38–41 hour power reserve, chosen for its accuracy, reliability and long-term serviceability. Each watch is Swiss made and hand assembled by skilled artisans before final testing and quality control.

The case, bezel, buckle and case back are crafted from brushed 904L stainless steel - a material selected for its exceptional corrosion resistance and durability in demanding environments. While significantly more difficult to machine and finish than industry-standard steels, its durability and distinctive lustre made it the natural choice for the D-1.

The unidirectional ceramic bezel rotates with a precise 120-click action, while the screw-down crown and updated six-screw case back contribute to 300m water resistance and add a more utilitarian feel.

The result is a diving watch designed not only for performance, but for long-term ownership — robust enough for regular use, yet refined enough to wear effortlessly every day.

All Aera watches come with have a two-year limited warranty from the date of purchase. You can easily extend the warranty for one additional year by visiting the Warranty page and registering your watch. We undertake to repair, free of charge, including shipping, any problem with the functions of the watch that result from defective manufacturing. If there is mechanical failure of the movement within the warranty period, rectification will include reseal and complementary refresh of the case.
