Aera has made a name for itself in record time.
The young British brand only launched in 2022 but immediately stood out in the crowded independent space with the P-1 Pilot and D-1 Diver – modern, minimalist tool watches built not from the industry-standard 316L steel but the costlier 904L, usually reserved for the likes of Rolex.
With hand-applied lume, domed sapphire crystals and sharp design details, Aera quickly showed it wasn’t just another hit-and-run D2C brand.
The M-1 Dune took that DNA and added a story.
The first M-1s arrived in late 2024 – the brushed-steel “Field” and the black-coated “Blackbird,” both 39mm, manually wound and inspired by the Dirty Dozen.
