C-1 Cloud

A chronograph for the 21st century, the C-1 Cloud is a mechanical heirloom designed for daily wear. It offers a contemporary take on the classic chronograph, with a tonal white design that combines different shades and textures. Perfect for travels far and wide, or adventures nearer to home, it’s a tool you can rely on day in, day out.

Assembled and finished by hand in Switzerland, the C-1 is powered by an automatic Sellita bi-compax movement. An entirely analogue experience like a vintage film camera or a classic car, this gives it a tactile, ‘living’ quality lost on new technology. But it’s no nostalgia trip, either. We’ve designed it with a contemporary, minimal look, referencing the past without being defined by it. There’s our signature one-piece dished dial, which combines with the domed sapphire crystal for a unique sense of depth. The dark grey printed markings add subtle contrast, while the case is built to last from brushed 904L stainless steel. This is a much harder metal to work with, but it offers vastly improved durability and corrosion resistance when compared to the 316L steel used by the majority of watchmakers. It’s worth the extra work.

The C-1 Cloud thrives in the sun but looks just as good in the shade. The seconds hands have been dipped in sky blue lacquer for a subtle pop. The tips meanwhile have been coated in bright green Super-LumiNova®, along with the hours and minute hands and crown pip, so it can be clearly read and operated at night. This has all been done by hand, making each watch completely unique. Elsewhere, our Aera logo has been cut from solid Globolight™, glowing white like the midday sun.

Like all Aera watches, each C-1 Cloud comes with its own serial number engraved on the screw down caseback. This makes each one unique, and in an edition of just 300 pieces. We also include two of our integrated straps in Arctic White rubber and Italian Cloud Grey leather. They form perfectly around the wrist thanks to our ergonomically designed lugs, and feature our quick-release spring bars, making it easy to switch up the look depending on your outfit or mood.

All Aera watches come with have a two-year limited warranty from the date of purchase. You can easily extend the warranty for one additional year by visiting the Warranty page and registering your watch. We undertake to repair, free of charge, including shipping, any problem with the functions of the watch that result from defective manufacturing. If there is mechanical failure of the movement within the warranty period, rectification will include reseal and complementary refresh of the case.
