C–1 Rennsport

The C-1 Rennsport Chronograph is a Special Edition collaboration between Aera and Rennsport, blending the world of elevated Swiss watchmaking with the bespoke craftsmanship of the UK based 911 Porsche restomod specialist. 

Designed with Aera’s passion for lasting functionality and timeless style, the 42mm C-1 Rennsport, in a limited edition of just 25 pieces, features a matt black one-piece dished dial like its cousins the C-1 Shadow and C-1 Cloud. Unique to the C-1 Rennsport, however, are the grey 3D printed bi-compax style sub-dials inspired by the iconic forged five-spoke Fuchs wheel, an unmistakable feature of the 911 since 1965. The 904L stainless steel case, with its brushed circular finish, has ergonomically curved lugs which allow for integrated interchangeable straps for superior comfort and versatility. Its screw in case back is engineered to provide 100m (10 atm) of water resistance. 

The beating heart of the C-1 Rennsport is a Swiss-made Sellita SW510 BH b Elabore grade automatic movement with a 56-hour power reserve. The pushers at 2 and 4 o’clock govern the chronograph’s stopwatch function and the central screw-in crown controls time setting. The sub dials at 9 o’clock and 3 o’clock measure running seconds and timed minutes respectively, while the central chronograph seconds hand records Chronograph time to 1/5th of a second against the markings of the dial’s rehaut.

For low-light situations, the red lacquered sub-dial hands and chronograph seconds hand are tipped with Swiss Super-LumiNova® Grade X1 for a crisp green glow. The Aera logo at 12 o’clock, machined from solid Globolight™, glows arctic white, ensuring unparalleled legibility.

For online orders, each C-1 Rennsport Chronograph includes a premium fluoroelastomer (FKM) rubber strap in Battleship Grey. For Rennsport car owners, there is an exclusive option to engrave their car’s serial number on the case lug. At an additional cost, there is also an option to order a bespoke strap crafted from the materials used in the interior of their own car.

All Aera watches come with a two-year warranty, extended to three years upon registration.
